Our skin has its own bacterial flora, which contains natural and harmless bacteria, but unfortunately, damp clothing promotes the growth of these bacteria. A safe and quite effective way to protect against bacterial infections is to shower within an hour of training, wash clothes after each training session and a sports bag every few weeks. It turns out that drinking plenty of water also helps to maintain hygiene. Why? Moisturizing the skin (also from the inside) is very important, especially during colder periods. Cold and dry air can wreak havoc on the skin, such as cracking or blistering. When bacteria get there, a brick problem.
In addition to drinking water, you should use a regular moisturiser. Also try to keep your footwear fresh. Unlike clothes, you don’t have to wash them after every workout. This can be done less often, but it is recommended that you always leave them to dry.
