Takt Raises $9.25M for Warehouse Intelligence
Takt raises $9.25M Series A to expand warehouse labor management, AI agents and integrations for warehouse operations teams.

Takt has raised $9.25 million in Series A financing led by Ballast Point Partners to expand its warehouse labor management and intelligence platform. The company combines labor, automation and robotics data to help operations teams plan staffing, track performance and respond to problems during a shift. Founded in 2021, Takt supports more than 100 warehouses across North America and international markets. The funding is its first institutional round and will support product integrations, AI tools and international expansion.
One View of Warehouse Work
Takt connects warehouse management systems, time clocks, robotics, material handling controls and homegrown applications. It measures activity against engineered labor standards, giving teams a combined view of labor performance, automation throughput, costs and profitability.
Its TaktAI product uses this operating model to identify where results are changing and why. Supervisors can use the platform to create labor plans, set goals and incentives, coach employees, and make intraday staffing moves before issues compound.
“Warehouses generate more data than ever, but the people responsible for their performance still struggle to see where operations are going off track in time to change the outcome. That is not a reporting gap. It is a modeling gap. Takt closes it by treating labor, automation and robotics as one operation.”
Customer Results Across Distribution Centers
Kenco, a third-party logistics provider, selected Takt as its labor management and warehouse intelligence system and deployed it across 19 distribution centers. At one single-client CPG site, Kenco reported that average cost per pallet fell 15%, equal to $229,000 annually.
ODW Logistics replaced a legacy labor management system with Takt. The company reported a 29% improvement in workforce performance and a 39% increase in employee retention.
“The way warehouses run has changed faster than the technology used to measure them, and that gap is what drew us to this category. What stood out about Takt was the evidence. Kenco standardized 19 distribution centers on the platform, plans to extend it to 30 more, and can point to results site by site. Enterprise operators do not expand a deployment at that pace unless the product is working.”
Funding Product and Regional Expansion
The Series A will fund broader integrations with tier-one warehouse management, robotics and material handling systems. Takt also plans to expand into order orchestration, resource scheduling and engineering tools.
The company is developing TaktAI agents designed to move from explaining operational changes to acting on them. The agents will rebalance labor against a live order profile within limits set by supervisors. Takt also plans to continue expanding in the United Kingdom, the European Union and Asia-Pacific.
Tools for Warehouse Operations Teams
Takt is designed for retailers, e-commerce brands and third-party logistics providers that need a single system for labor, automation and robotics performance. Its $9.25 million funding round gives the company resources to build more integrations and automation features for warehouse operators managing complex, data-heavy sites.
