Brown Gibbons Lang & Company has moved to No. 2 on Vault’s 2027 list of the top 10 investment banking internships. The program rose seven places from ninth in 2026, and BGL also ranked No. 2 for finance internships and No. 13 for best internships across industries nationwide. The nine-week program is for rising college seniors seeking investment banking experience. Vault’s rankings draw on intern feedback about culture, satisfaction, compensation, business outlook, work-life balance, training, and prestige.

Intern Feedback Drives Rankings

BGL received recognition in seven quality-of-life categories: compensation, quality of assignments, real-life experience, employment prospects, overall career development, training and mentoring, and culture of acceptance.

The firm’s two co-chief executive officers connected the result to the experiences offered to interns and junior professionals.

Effram E. Kaplan and Andrew K. Petryk, Co-Chief Executive Officers at BGL, stated:

“Earning recognition from Vault for a second consecutive year—and rising to #2 from #9—reflects the strength of BGL's culture and the long-term perspective and collaborative approach that guide our firm. We believe strongly in investing in people, giving interns and junior professionals meaningful experiences, hands-on learning, and opportunities to grow. This recognition is particularly meaningful because it is based on feedback from the interns who experienced the program firsthand.”

Nine Weeks Of Deal Experience

The Summer Analyst Program combines technical training, mentorship, a case competition, and access to live deal work across BGL’s Consumer, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Industrials, Infrastructure, Services, Technology, and Real Estate coverage areas.

Over the past three years, BGL reports an average offer acceptance rate of 94%. Many interns return to the firm as full-time analysts.
