Paid internships in tech: where to look and when to apply
The programs and job boards that list paid tech internships, and when each opens applications.
This list covers ten programs that offer paid tech internships, with the dates and pay each program prints. It is for students and early-career people who want to know where to look and when to apply.
We built it from each program's own page. We read every page on October 5, 2026, and copied the dates and the pay sentence word for word. A program whose page could not be read, or did not print both, was dropped.
Dates are the ones printed on each page on the day we saved it. A date in the past means that round has closed; the next round is usually posted later. The pages are listed under Sources at the end.

Our paid internship program runs for 12 weeks between May/June 2027 - August/September 2027. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are: Zone A: $43/hr - $51/hr Zone B: $39/hr - $44/hr Zone C: $36/hr - $43/hr This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Summer 2027 Application Deadline: March 1, 2027 (11:59 p.m. The majority of interns receive a paid stipend award, which is based on academic level and session duration.
5. NIST

Applications are due January 26, 2026. Interns are awarded up to a $7,810 stipend, with travel and housing allowances available for those who live outside of the NIST immediate area.
6. NSA

Applications for summer internships will be accepted beginning August 15. All of our paid internship programs span 12 weeks during the summer months, and include benefits such as paid time off, holiday and sick leave.
7. Bank of America

10. Los Alamos National Laboratory Supercomputer Institute
