Insta360 Hosts Luna Pro Creator Walk in New York
Insta360 Luna Pro took around 20 creators on a Times Square photo walk to test shooting modes, color settings, and NFC transfer.

Insta360 brought around 20 photographers, videographers, and creators to its new Times Square flagship store on September 10 for a hands-on Luna Pro event that included two Leica-affiliated photographers. The half-day session paired an in-store product introduction with a guided photo walk through Midtown Manhattan. Attendees tested Luna Pro’s shooting modes, color settings, and NFC app transfer during a themed color hunt spanning Times Square, Bryant Park, and Rockefeller Center. The event gave participants hands-on experience with the product in real-world conditions.
A Color Hunt Through Midtown
After an opening address and Luna Pro introduction, participants received a tutorial on basic operations before taking the product outside. Creators were divided into red, yellow, and blue groups, with each group following a curated route from 1515 Broadway through central Manhattan.
The challenge asked participants to look for vibrant colors, striking contrasts, and distinctive visual moments across the city. The groups returned to the Times Square store to share favorite images and compare how each person interpreted the same creative challenge.
Creator Tools In Street Settings
Luna Pro combines a Leica Summicron lens and in-camera Leica color profiles with Insta360 imaging technology.
“Luna Series is built for creators who chase light, color and motion. Hosting this community in the heart of New York, one of the world's most photogenic cities, was the perfect way to put the product to the test and capture real-world stories together.”
A Continuing Leica Partnership
The Luna Series is the latest product from Insta360 and Leica’s collaboration, which began in 2020 with the co-engineered ONE R 1-Inch Edition. The companies have expanded their work across several flagship imaging products and established a global strategic partnership in the imaging sector in 2025.
The Luna Series brings the collaboration into a new creator-focused mobile imaging category, combining Leica optics and color profiles with Insta360’s imaging technology.
