Skiptown is seeking franchise owners to expand its tech-enabled dog care business across Georgia. The company already has an Atlanta location and is prioritizing development from Peachtree City and Athens to Woodstock and Buford. Its recent growth includes a two-unit agreement in North Carolina and five-unit agreements in Colorado and Austin, Texas. Skiptown offers dog daycare, overnight boarding, bathing, grooming, and walking through a technology-supported service.

Georgia Expansion Plans

Skiptown will host a virtual franchise information event on October 20 focused on its Georgia expansion plans and franchise opportunities. The brand is open to single-unit and multi-unit franchise owners, and previous pet industry experience is not required.

“Georgia is an incredibly exciting market for Skiptown, and our Atlanta corporate unit has given us a strong foundation and following in the state. We’ve seen how much families love having everything they need under one roof, and we’re excited to share that experience with more communities.”

Mike Rotondo, CEO at Skiptown

Technology And Services

Skiptown’s proprietary technology supports booking, service management, and communication for pet parents, while helping franchise owners improve operations. Its services include daycare, overnight boarding, grooming, bathing, and walking.

Georgia’s business activity is part of the company’s case for expansion. Small businesses account for 99.7% of all businesses in Georgia, while the state supported 423 facility expansions and new locations in 2025, representing more than $26.3 billion in investment.

Franchise Owner Opportunity

The first Skiptown location in Pineville, North Carolina, is set to begin construction soon and open in the first quarter of 2027. Skiptown is seeking entrepreneurs who are passionate about pets and committed to delivering an experience for dogs and their owners.

“We’re looking for franchise owners who want to build a lasting presence in the communities they serve. The ideal franchisee is someone who wants to be hands-on at Skiptown and grow with our brand that provides the systems, technology, and support to help them succeed.”

Trevor Robinson, Head of Franchise Development at Skiptown
