Gregorys Coffee has launched a franchise program after building a network of more than 50 cafés across the United States. The New York City-born specialty coffee brand is working with Craveworthy Brands to offer qualified operators support in real estate, training, operations, supply chain, culinary, marketing, and technology. Gregorys opened its first Manhattan café in 2006 and now plans to grow in urban neighborhoods, commuter hubs, college towns, and lifestyle centers. Its first Franchise Open House is set for February 17, 2026, in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

A Coffee Brand Ready To Franchise

Gregorys roasts coffee through its New York City roastery and makes fresh menu offerings in-house. The company says its cafés are designed as daily ritual and neighborhood gathering spaces for guests, with seasonal offerings and scratch-made pastries alongside coffee.

The franchise program is aimed at experienced multi-unit entrepreneurs, qualified owner-operators, and strategic investors. Early development targets include the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Mountain West, and select West Coast markets.

“We've spent years building Gregorys with intention and care to ensure it stood the test of time before opening the door to franchising. Our Gregulars are the heart of this brand, and we wanted to grow in a way that protects what makes Gregorys special – the taste of our coffee, the feel of our experience. With the support of an industry leader, we're partnering with passionate operators who share that love for the hustle and grind and want to bring something meaningful to their communities.”

Operational Support For Franchisees

Craveworthy will provide franchisees with site selection, onboarding, store training, ongoing operational guidance, centralized resources, and purchasing support. The platform is intended to help owner-operators build teams and maintain a consistent café experience while running their local businesses.

Gregorys is entering a specialty coffee category that the release says is projected to exceed $80 billion by 2030, while 46 percent of adults consume a specialty beverage daily.

“In my 30 years in the restaurant industry, the brands that endure start with an excellent product – but even more, they're built on people, purpose and genuine loyalty. Gregorys has that soul. It is a coffee brand that has stood the test of time, earned a devoted community of Gregulars and now has the systems and support in place to expand above and beyond.”

Open House For Prospective Operators

Gregorys will hold its first Franchise Open House from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 2070 US-9 in Old Bridge, New Jersey, in Glenwood Green Shopping Center. Attendees can taste Gregorys coffee, experience the café format, and meet the leadership team.

For entrepreneurs considering a coffee franchise, the new program pairs an established café concept with support from a multi-brand restaurant franchisor. Gregorys’ existing footprint and focus on coffee roasting, food, and neighborhood-oriented cafés give prospective operators a defined format to bring to new communities.
