Prospect HQ Reaches 500 Colleges in Athlete Network
Prospect HQ reaches more than 500 colleges and universities, connecting student-athletes with jobs, employers and career guidance.

Prospect HQ says its community now represents student-athletes from more than 500 colleges and universities nationwide. The hiring platform reached the milestone nine months after launching in January 2026. It connects current and former student-athletes with employers seeking culturally aligned talent. The platform and iOS app offer open jobs, employer connections and career guidance, while student-athletes, athletic alumni and universities can join for free.
A Broader Talent Pool
Employers can use Prospect HQ to reach student-athletes across NCAA divisions, NAIA and club sports, with members spanning majors and career stages. The company says employers fund the platform through subscriptions to hire from its community.
The network includes current students preparing for their first job, alongside alumni considering a career change or their next role.
“Seeing our community grow to more than 500 colleges and universities in just nine months is remarkable, especially because of the diversity behind it,”
Career Guidance and Connections
Prospect HQ matches open job opportunities with candidates’ self-described goals and potential cultural fit. Its Purposeful Intelligence® capability offers coaching and guidance designed to help candidates tell their career story with confidence.
The Prospect HQ Feed lets members search for teammates, athletes, alumni and professionals by school, sport or major. Members can access the network on the web or through the iOS app.
“Here, a current student-athlete connects with someone who played the same sport 20 years ago, learns from an alum already working in their desired field or discovers an employer that recognizes the value of their athletic experience. This is the power of what we're building, and it is only the beginning,”
Building Athlete Career Paths
A 2020 Gallup study conducted with the NCAA found former student-athletes were more likely than other college graduates to be thriving in four of five areas of well-being, including purpose. Prospect HQ says its expanding community gives employers one place to find athlete talent while helping members build professional relationships and explore opportunities.
