Cheryl McCants Named Inaugural Woman to KNOW
Cheryl McCants named an inaugural Woman to KNOW in New Jersey among 50 women recognized for leadership and entrepreneurship.

Impact Consulting Enterprises Founder and CEO Cheryl McCants has been named one of 50 inaugural Women to KNOW in New Jersey. The recognition honors her nearly four decades in entrepreneurship, corporate and civic leadership, strategic communication and community work. McCants received the honor at the Women to KNOW in New Jersey Dinner & Gala on October 6 at 18 Label in Montclair. The program is presented by KNOW Women and recognizes women whose work is helping shape New Jersey’s future.
Recognition for Leadership
McCants’ career includes work in business, government, education, health care, life sciences and mission-driven organizations. She has held leadership roles with Nike and Jordan Brand, served as a town commissioner, and served on business, education and economic-development boards.
Her work at Impact Consulting Enterprises centers on helping organizations turn ideas into action through communication, public relations, marketing, research and engagement strategies.
Developing Future Leaders
Through the Impact Institute, McCants and her team provide workforce development, professional growth and skill-building in writing, speaking and strategic thinking. Her podcast, “Build Your Brand with Cheryl McCants: Make the Invisible Visible®,” offers business owners insight on branding, marketing, leadership, visibility and growth.
McCants also credits her late aunt, Alma Williams, with shaping her approach to leadership and seeing opportunity in setbacks.
