Magnoli Technologies announced native payroll processing for dry cleaning operators at Drycleaning & Laundry Expo East in the Washington metropolitan area. The service begins rolling out to select Magnoli customers in the fourth quarter of 2026. It handles direct deposits, pay stubs and payroll tax filing within the platform used for counter operations, plant work and scheduling. Broad availability for all customers is planned soon after the initial rollout.

From Schedules To Paychecks

The software already lets users schedule locations against sales-based labor targets, warns managers about potential overtime, and flags missed punches and long breaks. It also calculates paid time off accrual, bonuses and overtime automatically.

Magnoli’s new service removes the need to export approved payroll figures to a separate processor, giving managers one screen to approve a pay period before the company handles payment and tax filing.

“I know how much of an operator’s week is taken up by administrative work. I developed the tools we needed at my own dry cleaner so we could spend that time on customers, quality, and growth.”

Justin Koh, Co-founder and CEO at Magnoli Technologies

Tools Built For Operators

“Magnoli already scheduled the people and prepared the numbers, so processing payroll was the logical next step. It’s one less vendor and one less export, and no more re-keying hours on payday.”

A Broader Back Office Suite

Magnoli says its implementation team will migrate customers from their current payroll processor. Payroll joins its back office offerings for document and license management, fixed asset inventory, project management, and professional services for fractional CFO, accounting, HR and compliance support.

The company is also developing additional AI-enhanced offerings for a 2027 release.
