Payslip Secures AI Payroll Growth Financing
Payslip growth financing from Salica Investments will support hiring, international expansion and AI payroll platform development.

Payslip has secured growth financing from London-headquartered Salica Investments to hire staff, expand internationally and invest in its AI global payroll platform. The payroll software company reported 60% compound annual growth in recent years alongside strong EBITDA positivity, while targeting revenue growth that doubles every two years. Its platform automates more than 1.3 million monthly payslips in over 125 countries and supports more than €5 billion in payroll payments worldwide. The round arrives as Payslip marks 10 years in business and names Flix and Zalando among its new customers.
Payroll Control Across Countries
Payslip provides multinational employers with tools to standardize and automate payroll operations across countries. Its Global Payroll Control Platform connects with HCM, accounting and ERP systems, helping organizations unify multi-country payroll data and reporting.
The company says employers are seeking centralized, audit-ready payroll data as pay transparency and compliance requirements expand, including the EU Pay Transparency Directive. Payslip’s customer list includes Cloudera, Just Eat Takeaway and EQT, as well as Flix and Zalando.
Funding Supports International Growth
The Salica Investments financing will support recruitment and international expansion as Payslip responds to demand for its platform. The company said several other providers tendered for the business.
“This year marks our 10th year in business. Over the past decade, we've built a platform trusted by the world's leading multinational organisations to bring control and consistency to one of the most mission critical business areas. As the Fourth Industrial Revolution reshapes global business operations, automation and operational efficiency across core enterprise functions have become essential for competitiveness. Organisations are under growing pressure to gain greater visibility, standardisation and control across increasingly complex international payroll environments, particularly as AI accelerates the pace of operational change.”
AI In Payroll Workflows
Payslip Alpha is the company’s AI suite for payroll operations. Payslip says the technology is embedded in payroll workflows to identify anomalies, standardize inputs and adapt in real time across jurisdictions. As it is used, the platform develops knowledge of country rules, exceptions and integrations.
“Payslip's automation and AI capabilities are already delivering up to 55% efficiency gains for multinational organisations, helping enterprise teams simplify complexity, strengthen compliance and operate with greater agility at global scale. This investment enables us to further accelerate innovation in AI and continue expanding our international presence as demand for intelligent payroll infrastructure continues to grow.”
A Decade Of Payroll Growth
Founded in 2016 by McGuirk and headquartered in County Mayo, Ireland, Payslip has raised $21 million from investors including Salica Investments, Tribal VC, Frontline Ventures, MiddleGame Ventures and Mouro Capital. Its strategic partnership with Deloitte recently reached its two-year anniversary.
The company’s latest financing gives it more resources to develop its automation and AI products for multinational organizations managing payroll operations across jurisdictions.
