Vertice has been named overall market leader in Lionfish Tech Advisors’ 2026 report on SaaS procurement and management platforms. The intelligent procurement platform ranked highest for customer satisfaction, market velocity, and product functionality and usability among nine vendors. Vertice combines SaaS management, procurement orchestration, and cloud optimization for enterprise finance and procurement teams. The company says it processes more than $10 billion in software spend and has delivered 20% savings while halving procurement cycles.

Top Scores Across Categories

The Lionfish Tech Advisors report placed Vertice ahead of Vendr, Tropic, and Zylo for customer satisfaction and product functionality and usability. It also identified Vertice’s integrated platform strategy as delivering the highest achieved savings rate among the vendors evaluated.

Growth And Funding

Vertice grew headcount by 163% over the past two years, while the release says Vendr and Tropic reduced headcount by 39% and 6%, respectively. Vertice also secured a $50 million Series C funding round in January 2025.

The report highlighted Vertice’s dedicated buyer model and data intelligence, rather than reseller agreements used by marketplace-focused competitors. Vertice says this model supports savings outcomes without the conflict of interest it associates with reseller models.
