Xthings One Unifies Video, Access, and Time Tracking
Xthings One combines video, access control, time tracking, and visitor management on local edge appliances for small businesses.

Xthings introduced Xthings One at ISC West 2026, combining video surveillance, access control, time and attendance, and visitor management in one on-premises platform. The system runs locally on Xthings Station edge appliances, using 25 TOPS of AI compute rather than relying on cloud infrastructure. It is aimed at small and midsize businesses that want to replace separate security and workforce systems with a single command center. Xthings One is available through a modular setup, allowing businesses to begin with one function and add others over time.
One Platform For Daily Operations
Xthings One brings cameras, doors, time clocks, and visitor logs into one dashboard and a shared timeline. The platform is built around four modules: SecureSite for video and incidents, DoorControl for access and audit records, TimeGuard for time and attendance, and GuestFlow for visitor management.
SecureSite includes AI detection for people, vehicles, and perimeter events, along with incident steps for acknowledging, assigning, resolving, and auditing cases. DoorControl manages credentials, schedules, employee onboarding and offboarding, audit logs, fire release, and offline mode.
“Security for small businesses is broken, not because of hardware, but because of fragmentation. Xthings One gives every business a professional-grade security command center that's simple to deploy, doesn't depend on the cloud, and grows with them over time. You start with one problem and scale with confidence.”
Linked Events In One Timeline
The platform connects video, door access, and time records in a correlated timeline. When a door opens, the nearest camera clip is automatically bookmarked. Clock-ins can be validated against access data, while visitor check-ins record access and video traces together.
TimeGuard offers presence-verified clock-in and clock-out records, shift scheduling, real-time attendance visibility, and payroll-ready exports for existing accounting systems. GuestFlow adds self-check-in, pre-registration, temporary access that expires automatically, and a visitor audit trail.
AI Processing Stays On Site
Xthings One runs on the Xthings Station series, compact appliances that process video analytics, access events, and operational data locally. The company says no raw video is sent to the cloud, and biometric templates for facial recognition and fingerprint authentication are stored and matched locally.
Its AI functions cover security and safety alerts such as intrusion detection, loitering, suspicious activity detection, and real-time incident alerts. Other functions include occupancy monitoring, PPE compliance, behavior and anomaly detection, license plate recognition, vehicle tracking, and parking and loading-zone monitoring.
Hardware And Installer Support
The platform supports access control readers, intelligent locks, biometric attendance terminals, ONVIF-compatible IP cameras, turnstiles, barrier gates, perimeter intrusion sensors, and visitor registration kiosks from one console. PoE connectivity is intended to simplify installation and reduce maintenance costs.
Xthings is positioning the system for installers and integrators as well as business operators, with an upgrade path from door access to video, time tracking, and visitor management. Xthings One will be displayed at the Xthings booth, No. 32061, at ISC West 2026.
A Modular Option For Small Businesses
For businesses managing disconnected security and workforce tools, Xthings One offers a practical local alternative with room to add functions as needs change. Its modular design is geared toward organizations that want a single system for physical security, attendance, and visitor records without managing separate subscriptions and dashboards.
