Gearoot Inc., LAMEDA’s authorized distributor and market-entry partner, is building the cycling apparel brand’s international presence through e-commerce, B2B custom orders, and event exposure. Founded in 2024 and officially launched in 2025, the company generated about $350,000 from LAMEDA’s global independent website and B2B custom orders in its first year. Gearoot projects revenue from those channels will reach $1 million this year. It manages LAMEDA’s North American distribution and global independent e-commerce operations, connecting the brand with riders, clubs, retailers, distributors, and outdoor communities.

Apparel And Customer Services

LAMEDA offers performance cycling apparel including jerseys, bib shorts, base layers, jackets, gloves, and accessories. The range highlights lightweight construction, breathability, sun protection, elasticity, and rider comfort.

The brand also highlights Italian technical fabrics including MITI® and Carvico®, alongside free size exchanges, local return support, and first-year crash replacement services.

Custom Orders And Content

Gearoot works with cycling KOLs and content creators on ride videos, product-testing content, and lifestyle campaigns showing LAMEDA products in real riding environments. Its B2B services support clubs, event organizers, and business clients with custom apparel, branded kits, and group-order solutions.

The company is led by Jinxi (Derek) Cao, a University of Toronto undergraduate entering his fourth year and majoring in Economics and Industrial Relations and Human Resources. As a student entrepreneur, Cao has positioned Gearoot as both a distributor and a market-entry partner for LAMEDA’s overseas strategy.

Events Build Brand Visibility

Gearoot has participated in Markham Cycling Day and helped bring LAMEDA to B2B and B2C settings including Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California, CABDA Expo in Chicago, EUROBIKE in Europe, and outdoor exhibitions in Toronto and Vancouver.

Those appearances connect LAMEDA with retailers, distributors, cycling clubs, outdoor consumers, and end users. Gearoot is also supporting LAMEDA’s Capybara cycling apparel series, built around “No Rush, I’ll Get There.” The collection has received positive attention from customers at exhibitions and adds a lifestyle identity to the brand’s performance-focused range.

Global Expansion Plans

Gearoot plans to continue expanding LAMEDA’s global presence through e-commerce, B2B custom orders, influencer campaigns, club partnerships, event sponsorships, and trade-show exposure. The company’s work gives clubs, event organizers, and business clients access to custom apparel and branded kit options while supporting LAMEDA’s visibility across cycling and outdoor communities.
