NeuralTrust has raised $20 million in seed funding to expand its platform for identifying, securing, and scaling enterprise AI agents. The round, led by Alstin Capital, is described as the largest cybersecurity seed financing raised by an EU company to date. NeuralTrust plans to use the money for engineering, closer product integration, and European expansion. Its software is aimed at enterprises putting autonomous AI systems into production, including banks, airlines, energy companies, and government agencies.

Funding Round and Backers

VentureFriends, Seaya, Kibo Ventures, Banc Sabadell, EA Ventures Plug and Play Fund, and Finaves, the venture capital fund of IESE Business School, joined Alstin Capital in the round. NeuralTrust also receives public funding from the European Innovation Council and Spain’s State Research Agency.

The company’s customers include AirEuropa, Abanca, Iberia, and Banc Sabadell. NeuralTrust reports that 92% of its customers have annual revenue above $1 billion, with 80% based in Europe and 20% in international markets.

Three Layers of Control

NeuralTrust’s platform is built around three products. TrustGate is an agent gateway that brokers LLM, MCP, and tool calls so agent traffic passes through one enforcement point. TrustGuard is a runtime security engine designed to detect and stop threats across platforms and endpoints where agents operate.

TrustLens identifies AI agents across an enterprise and tracks their behavior inside and outside the security perimeter. Together, the products are intended to give organizations a clearer way to govern AI agents that run across multiple systems.

Enterprise AI Security

The funding comes as enterprises shift AI agents from experimentation into core operations. NeuralTrust cites Gartner’s prediction that 40% of enterprises will demote or decommission autonomous AI agents by 2027 because governance gaps are found after production incidents. The company also points to projections that Fortune 500 companies could operate more than 150,000 agents each by 2028.

“AI agents are now part of enterprise operations, but the controls protecting them are still catching up. This round allows us to keep building the infrastructure layer that makes AI adoption measurable, governable, and safe.”

Expanding the Platform

NeuralTrust has been named a Representative Vendor in two Gartner Market Guides, a Leader in KuppingerCole’s 2025 Leadership Compass for Generative AI Defense, and a Leader in MarketsandMarkets’ 2026 Agentic AI Security Quadrant. The new funding gives the company resources to develop its product suite as enterprise customers seek security controls for AI agents running across their organizations.
