Chandigarh University Expands Internship Partnerships

Chandigarh University expands internship partnerships across legal studies, media, teacher education, digital forensics, and pharmacy programs.

Chandigarh University has signed agreements with organizations in legal services, media, teacher education, digital forensics, and pharmaceutical sciences to provide internships, placements, training, and research opportunities. The arrangements include internship periods of one to 12 months, while the agreement with Khurana and Khurana Advocates and IP Attorneys offers internships of one to three months. Its University Institute of Sciences will also work with Foundation Futuristic Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to establish a Research Centre for Digital Forensic Intelligence. The partnerships cover students in legal studies, liberal arts, teacher education, sciences, and pharmaceutical sciences.

Legal Studies Partnerships

Chandigarh University’s University Institute of Legal Studies has entered into collaborations with SB Tech Associates, Magnus Legal Services LLP, and Khurana and Khurana Advocates and IP Attorneys. The agreements provide for curriculum development and review, training, seminars, hackathons, competitions, workshops, courses, and guest or expert lectures.

SB Tech Associates and Magnus Legal Services LLP will offer internship and placement opportunities lasting from one to 12 months, along with joint research, funded projects, consultancy assignments, publications, and knowledge exchange. The agreement with Khurana and Khurana covers internships of one to three months and placement opportunities for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.), LL.B., and LL.M. students.

Media And Teacher Education

For liberal arts students, the university has collaborations with Level UP PR and Mantrin in the print media and newspaper sector. The partnerships cover curriculum development and review, training, workshops, guest and expert lectures, industry talks, live industry projects, internships, placements, and research-related work.

Internship engagements under the Level UP PR and Mantrin agreements may range from one to 12 months. Separately, the university’s agreement with Orient International School and Sports Academy covers B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. programs, offering internships, placements, industrial visits, seminars, workshops, expert talks, hackathons, and curriculum review by subject-matter experts.

Digital Forensics Center

The University Institute of Sciences will collaborate with Foundation Futuristic Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to establish a Research Centre for Digital Forensic Intelligence. Chandigarh University will provide physical infrastructure and computing hardware, while FFT will contribute proprietary software licenses, specialized tools, and curriculum modules.

The center will cover digital forensics, crime investigation, intelligence technologies, and solutions through training, seminars, hackathons, competitions, workshops, courses, and expert lectures. The agreement includes internships lasting one to 12 months, placement opportunities with FFT, Train-the-Trainer certification for nominated faculty, and co-branded certification programs subject to university policies and approvals.

The proposed center may also serve as a demonstration, research, and training hub for law-enforcement agencies and other authorized institutions.

Pharmaceutical Sciences Access

Chandigarh University has also partnered with Choksi Laboratories Ltd. to provide practical exposure to pharmaceutical analytical techniques. The agreement includes curriculum development and review, training, seminars, hackathons, workshops, courses, lectures, industrial visits, joint research, funded projects, consultancy assignments, publications, and knowledge exchange.

Students will have internship and placement opportunities, alongside professional certification programs in agreed areas. Co-branded certificates remain subject to Chandigarh University’s academic policies and approvals.

Across the agreements, Chandigarh University is adding employer-linked learning options that range from curriculum input and live projects to internships, placements, research, and professional certifications. Students in participating programs will have access to practical activities alongside their academic studies.
