NewMed Uses GeoIntelX AI for Gas Data

GeoIntelX has deployed its GIX geospatial intelligence platform for NewMed Energy, helping the natural gas company process and enrich databases from two flagship projects. The first phase covers technical and non-technical records, including subsurface, production, facilities, environmental, and regulatory materials. NewMed reports that its teams can now ask more complex geological questions and receive answers in minutes rather than days or weeks. The agreement covers GIX as an AI data platform for exploration and production teams handling both recent and legacy records.

Data Brought Into One Platform

GeoIntelX used proprietary machine learning processing algorithms to digitize, structure, and enrich NewMed’s data. The work changed stand-alone files into a geospatial intelligence layer that exploration teams can search and filter.

All data included in the first phase was brought together in the GIX data exploration platform alongside qualified publicly available research. Users can query the information through geospatial tools and AI conversational interfaces for geological and commercial questions.

Faster Geological Analysis

NewMed said the centralized and structured database is changing how its teams generate knowledge from available information. The company tested alternative AI products before selecting GeoIntelX for the project.
