BMU Disburses Rs. 1.6 Crore to 10 Startups
BML Munjal University startup funding reached Rs. 1.6 crore for 10 startups at Propel Pitchfest26 and EIS 4.0.

BML Munjal University disbursed Rs. 1.6 crore to 10 startups at Propel Pitchfest26, held alongside the fourth Entrepreneurship and Innovation Summit, EIS 4.0. The funding went to companies incubated at the Atal Community Innovation Centre at BML Munjal University, with support from SISF and MeitY Startup Hub. Torus Robotics Private Limited received the largest allocation of Rs. 40 lakh, followed by GREPBIO DATALAB Private Limited with Rs. 30 lakh. The campus event brought together founders, investors, policymakers and scholars to discuss AI, digital acceleration and cross-border collaboration.
Funding for Ten Startups
The funding recipients were Torus Robotics Private Limited, Rs. 40 lakh; GREPBIO DATALAB Private Limited, Rs. 30 lakh; Gadget Guruz Technologies Private Limited, Rs. 25.67 lakh; and Spacemancraft Private Limited, Rs. 20 lakh. KAGAKU Technology Private Limited received Rs. 12 lakh, while Univeons EdTech Private Limited received Rs. 8.5 lakh.
PHOSIC India Private Limited received Rs. 8 lakh, Helektron Innovations Private Limited received Rs. 6 lakh, Zynox Private Limited received Rs. 5.5 lakh, and Thermoforge received Rs. 4.5 lakh.
Startup and Innovation Discussions
Senior representatives from Atal Innovation Mission, MeitY Startup Hub, TiE Delhi NCR, ISBA and O2 VC Fund attended the summit. Sessions with Khalid Wani and Daksh Sethi addressed AI-driven disruption, while Himanshu Gupta, Founder of Lawyered, urged entrepreneurs to “fall in love with the problem, not the product”.
Mudit Kumar, Co-Founder of Ideabaaz, spoke on inclusive entrepreneurship and support for founders from Tier 2, 3 and 4 cities. Ajay Singh, Head of Technology & Innovation at the Austrian Embassy, also highlighted the India-Austria Startup Bridge and opportunities for Indian startups to access European markets.

Awards for Research and Prototypes
EIS 4.0 presented Best Paper Awards with cash prizes of Rs. 25,000 for first prize, Rs. 15,000 for second prize and Rs. 10,000 for third prize. The event also hosted a Prototype Competition for school and college or university teams, with cash prizes of up to Rs. 1,00,000.
In the school category, Team Royal from S.V. No. 3, Sector-7, R.K. Puram, New Delhi, won first prize. Team Grey Reaqua from Scottish High International School placed second, followed by Team Gnav Innovators from Gita Niketan Awasiya Vidyalaya.
In the college and university undergraduate category, Team Loremind and Team The Winning Edge from BML Munjal University secured first and second place. Team Inventor from Govt. Polytechnic Lisana took third prize.
Support for Early Stage Work
Propel Pitchfest26 and EIS 4.0 included startup funding, research awards and prototype competition prizes. The events recognized startups incubated at ACIC-BMU Foundation, alongside school and university teams working on early-stage prototypes and research.
