Keller Warehousing & Co-Packing, an affiliate of Keller Logistics Group, has appointed Mike Whitlock as director of business development as it builds its leadership team for 3PL warehousing, co-packing, and e-commerce fulfillment. The Defiance, Ohio-based business operates nationwide and has recently expanded in Maine and Connecticut. Whitlock brings more than 20 years of revenue leadership, including 18% revenue growth at PGL and more than $20 million in new business in one year at John S. Connor. Keller also has a 200,000-square-foot food-grade warehouse available on Winston Avenue in Covington, Kentucky.

Business Development Addition

Whitlock most recently served as vice president of sales at PGL. His background also includes a decade as vice president of sales, marketing and pricing at John S. Connor, along with senior sales roles at RCI-Logistics, GTS Group, and DHL Worldwide.

Operations And Technology Team

President Daryl Mickley has led the company’s multi-year leadership build. His background in global 3PL, network design, and warehouse management systems includes roles at SEKO Logistics, The Step2 Company, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, BAX Global, and Fritz Companies, later UPS Supply Chain Services.

“This is the bench we have been building toward. Warehousing is no longer a real estate business. It is a technology business, an automation business, an e-commerce fulfillment business, and a value-added services business - all at once. The companies that will win the next decade are the ones who have already put the right people in place. We have.”

Directors of Operations Dave Reese and Roy Olson lead the operational side. Reese oversees 13+ North American facilities totaling more than 3 million square feet. Olson previously ran FedEx Supply Chain’s P&G Lima, Ohio facility with $21 million in P&L responsibility. Jennifer Hogue brings 27 years of warehouse management systems and managed services leadership from Datex, SEKO Logistics, and Crane Worldwide Logistics.

National Fulfillment Coverage

Keller’s site and functional leaders include Seth Webb, Jed Patrum, Zachary Mayer, Brandon Gaither, and James Lobb. Their experience includes 3PL operations, automated distribution centers, e-commerce fulfillment, food and beverage supply chains, MRP, and co-pack vendor management.

“Look at where these people came from - SEKO, FedEx Supply Chain, DHL, Crane Worldwide, Ryder, Bath & Body Works, PepsiCo, Nestle, PFSweb. They came to Keller because they saw what this organization is building: a fundamentally different kind of 3PL partner, with the agility of a private company and the talent depth of a national platform. The bench is stacked. The strategy is set. And we are just getting started.”
