Laura Crabtree Joins Inc.’s Female Founders 500
Laura Crabtree Inc. Female Founders 500 recognition highlights Epsilon3’s software for mission-critical operations.

Epsilon3 Co-Founder and CEO Laura Crabtree has been named to Inc.’s 2026 Female Founders 500, an annual list recognizing women business leaders in the United States. The honor comes as Epsilon3 supplies procedure and resource management software for mission-critical operations. Founded in 2021 by Crabtree and Max Mednik, the company says engineering and operations teams behind 30% of U.S. orbital launch providers use its platform. The 2026 honorees collectively generated about $12.3 billion in revenue in 2025 and $12.2 billion in funding to date.
From Space Missions To Software
Crabtree began her career at Northrop Grumman before spending more than a decade at SpaceX as a Missions Operations Engineer. Her work included supporting the first launch of SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft and its first crewed mission to the International Space Station.
Epsilon3 was founded around the need for secure and reliable technology for high-stakes work. Its software brings manual workflows and legacy systems into one platform for planning, building, testing, and executing complex procedures across aerospace, defense, nuclear energy, and other industries.
“Being named to Inc.'s Female Founders 500 list is an honor. I built Epsilon3 to solve a problem that I lived first-hand: coordinating missions where the stakes are impossibly high, where one single operational issue carries immense risk,”
“My vision is to make the seamless, connected technology once reserved for rocket launches an accessible standard for every industry where failure isn't an option — from industrial manufacturing to nuclear fusion.”
Platform For Complex Operations
Epsilon3’s platform includes real-time synchronization, automated error checking, and full traceability. The company names Blue Origin and Commonwealth Fusion Systems among the cross-industry partners using its software for complex operations.
The company released its first FedRAMP High Solution during the past year. Epsilon3 says it is one of fewer than 70 SaaS companies in the country to meet the federal government’s highest security standards.
Inc. Recognition
Inc. editors assess Female Founders 500 applications through a multi-round selection process that considers revenue growth, funding, sales, audience size, innovation, social impact, and brand momentum. Several honorees will appear in Inc. magazine’s Spring print issue, due on newsstands March 17, 2026.
“Each year, we are increasingly amazed by the extraordinary leaders on our Inc. Female Founders 500 list. The honorees on this year's list include innovators in AI, beauty and wellness trendsetters winning devoted fans, and nonprofit leaders making a real impact in their communities. Together, they're showing all of us what trailblazing female leadership looks like.”
Built For High Stakes Work
Epsilon3 is aimed at engineering and operations teams that need one system for managing complex procedures. The company positions the software for mission-critical work where teams require planning, execution, error checking, and traceability in one platform.
