Tencent Video’s Wonderland Season VI is airing in China with 15 residents living together for 21 days in an unfinished industrial space in Chongqing. The social experiment reality show holds an S+ rating on Yunhe and an 8.1 score on Weibo, according to the company. Its sixth season centers on “Raw Life,” using everyday interactions, humor, and shared living to examine social boundaries and relationships. The program is also running tourism activities in Chongqing’s Dadukou District, where filming begins at the Chongqing Industrial Museum.

Viewers on Chinese social media have described the show as “digital comfort food” and “a comforting emotional refuge.” The current season continues that relationship-led format while placing the cast in a more industrial, city-edge environment.
Tourism Activities in Chongqing
The production is based in Dadukou District, Chongqing, and links the series to local cultural tourism activity. The program has organized landmark light shows, “Wonderland” themed open-day events, and other offline activities around the season.

Previous filming locations have become tourist destinations, according to Tencent Video. For Season VI, the company is connecting Chongqing landmarks, street life, and the show’s storylines as part of efforts to raise the city’s tourism profile.
Relationships Remain the Focus
Across its six seasons, Wonderland has kept human relationships at the center of its format. Season VI brings that established idea to a new location, with a 21-day shared-living experience designed to show how strangers build trust and find common ground.
