PLAYipp and PADS4 Form European Signage Group
PLAYipp and PADS4 join forces to serve 6,500 organizations in over 75 countries with digital signage software.

PLAYipp and PADS4 have joined forces, backed by Nordic B2B software investor Monterro, to form an independent European digital signage software group. The combined group serves more than 6,500 organizations in over 75 countries through several hundred resellers and integrators. PLAYipp brings SaaS and AI capabilities, while PADS4 contributes data-focused enterprise software for complex environments. Existing customers will keep their current platforms, contracts, support teams, and contacts while the companies set out plans for the combined offering.
Complementary Digital Signage Products
PLAYipp serves more than 4,000 organizations, including large enterprises and public sector bodies, mainly in the Nordic region. PLAYipp says its platform connects with tools such as intranets, BI systems, and calendars so content stays current without manual work.
PADS4 describes its enterprise digital signage platform as hardware-agnostic and says it turns real-time data into visual displays. Its software is used in business-critical settings including smart workplaces, passenger information systems, production lines, retail locations, and more than 100 airports.
“Our customers want impact from their communication, and they expect getting there to be easy. PADS4 brings real strength in large and complex environments. Very few companies can offer both. Together we can.”
International Expansion Plans
The group serves customers and partners across all seven continents, with deployments in airports, offices, factories, and retail settings. PLAYipp and PADS4 aim to build a European digital signage software group with the scale, expertise, and international reach to compete globally.
“By joining forces with PLAYipp, we strengthen our European foundation while accelerating our global ambitions. Together with PLAYipp, we have the opportunity to build a stronger and more innovative software group, to reinforce our position as an international leader.”
Customer Support Stays In Place
The companies plan to combine PLAYipp’s SaaS and AI capabilities with PADS4’s data and enterprise software. More details are expected over the coming months, with cloud services identified as the direction while on-premise options remain available for organizations that need them.
The companies say a larger product team and more capacity to invest will mean faster progress and a broader portfolio for partners to offer. For now, customers will continue using the same platforms under the same contracts, with the same support teams and contacts.
