DJI Mic Mini 2S Adds 28 Hours of Internal Recording

DJI has launched the DJI Mic Mini 2S, a compact wireless microphone with 32-bit float internal recording and up to 28 hours of audio storage. The new model adds two levels of AI noise canceling, support for up to four transmitters on one receiver, and compatibility with selected DJI Osmo cameras. It is aimed at creators recording solo videos, interviews, podcasts, and small-group productions. DJI Mic Mini 2S is available now through the DJI Store and authorized retail partners.

Internal Recording For Longer Sessions

DJI Mic Mini 2S is the first mini wireless microphone from DJI with internal recording. Each transmitter has approximately 14.5GB of built-in storage and can record up to 28 hours of audio in the default 24-bit mode.

The microphone also supports 32-bit float internal recording, which is designed to give creators more room to handle changing sound levels in post-production. DJI says it can capture a wide range of sound, from quiet speech to louder moments, without clipping.

Noise Controls For Different Locations

The two-level AI noise canceling system is intended for indoor and outdoor recording. The Basic setting reduces sounds such as fans, air conditioning, and reverb, while the Strong setting targets louder outdoor noise.

Clipping Control automatically reduces audio during sudden volume spikes, while Loudness Balance is designed to keep output levels consistent for interviews and live streams. Creators can also choose from Regular, Bright, and Rich voice tone presets.

Four Transmitters On One Receiver

One DJI Mic Mini 2S receiver can connect with up to four transmitters at once. That setup supports roundtable discussions, podcasts, interviews, and other recordings involving several people.

The system also works with DJI Mic Mini and Mic Mini 2 transmitters, plus the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver. For existing DJI microphone users, that compatibility offers a way to expand a recording setup without replacing every component.

Compact Design And Osmo Connection

The transmitter weighs approximately 12g and can be attached with either a clip or magnet. Its detachable magnetic front cover can be changed to suit an outfit, while eight colored covers introduced for Mic Mini 2 are sold separately.

DJI also offers the Mic Mini 2S Time Series Magnetic Front Cover, created with illustration artist Victo Ngai. The microphone can connect directly to select Osmo cameras, including Osmo Pocket 4P, Osmo Pocket 4, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano, and Osmo Action 6, without a receiver. That OsmoAudio Direct Connection sends 48kHz 24-bit audio to compatible devices.

DJI Mic Mini 2S brings longer onboard recording, adjustable noise reduction, and multi-person connectivity into a small wireless microphone system.
