Maine Community Bank has chosen Cetera Financial Institutions to support the expansion of its MCB Wealth Management program. The Portland, Maine-based bank is bringing approximately $120 million in assets under administration to the partnership, based on asset holdings provided to Cetera as of January 27, 2026. MCB moved the program from LPL Financial as it sought more consistent and hands-on support. The partnership is centered on growth and personalized service for the bank’s clients.

A Maine Based Bank

Maine Community Bank operates 21 branches across Androscoggin, Cumberland, and York counties. The depositor-owned institution brings together Biddeford Savings, Mechanics Savings, and Gorham Savings Bank, with the latest combination taking place with Gorham Savings Bank in 2025. The bank reports nearly $3 billion in bank deposits and describes itself as Maine’s largest mutual savings bank operating exclusively in the state.

The wealth management program is overseen by Kim Donnelly, chief client development officer. Day-to-day leadership includes Matthew Cyr, AIF®, CRPC®, senior wealth advisor and director of wealth management, alongside Corey Woodhead, CFP®, senior wealth advisor; Lesley Warn, wealth advisor; Samuel Kany, CRPC®, wealth advisor; and Lisa Dube, senior financial services assistant.

Support for Program Growth

Cetera Financial Institutions provides investment products and services through its representatives for financial institutions. Maine Community Bank selected the firm as it continues to grow its wealth management program and provide clients with guidance for their financial plans.

“After meeting with Cetera and seeing the platform firsthand, it was clear this partnership offered the kind of personal touch and structured guidance we had been missing,”
