Restaurant Careers Launches Local Recruiting Guide
Restaurant Careers RC Community Resource Guide starts at $395 and connects restaurant operators with local hiring resources.

RestaurantCareers.com has introduced the RC Community Resource Guide, a recruiting tool that connects restaurant operators with local schools, nonprofit organizations, job fairs, social media groups, and workforce programs. The guide is customized by location and is positioned as an alternative to large job boards. Pricing starts at $395, with subscriptions available for a week, a month, or longer and no contract or term requirement. Restaurant Careers says an app version is planned for fall.
Local Resources in One Place
The guide brings local hiring resources together for restaurant operators seeking candidates in their own communities. It also highlights nonprofit organizations that offer culinary and job training for people facing barriers to employment, including homelessness and poverty.
Resources are identified through networking, research, and partnerships with state restaurant associations, many of which sponsor workforce programs. Restaurant Careers says clients that use the guide will also be featured on its website and social channels.
“The fundamental mission of the RC Guide is to connect restaurant operators with the local programs and make them a more integral part of their community. Employees that are sourced from community groups often stay longer, which helps operators with the high cost of turnover”.
Used by Restaurant Employers
Restaurant Careers lists The Cheesecake Factory, Lucky Strike Entertainment, Chuck E Cheese, Mendocino Farms, and Chopt Creative Salad Company among companies using the Resource Guide. The service is aimed at operators that need local options for locations that are difficult to staff or roles that are hard to fill.
“The RC Guide has been an invaluable tool for our 365 locations giving operators a one-stop approach to go beyond the big job boards and find quality local candidates through community engagement. We all have locations that are difficult to staff and positions that are hard to fill. The RC Guide is a budget-friendly alternative that delivers.”
Flexible Recruiting Subscription
The Resource Guide was developed by R&r Advertising of Restaurant Recruit Inc. and RestaurantCareers.com. The tool is intended for restaurant employers that want location-specific hiring contacts without committing to a long-term recruiting contract.
